A new year usually means a fresh start. Fortunately, we don’t start from scratch – but with wind in our sails from our record year in 2025 where we grew by 23%. Despite January being very strong last year, we still achieved growth of 13% in January this year. I can never be grateful enough for the energy, commitment, and positivity that my dear colleagues (read: friends) contribute to day after day, month after month, year after year..

November is here – and with it a sense of both gratitude and pride. I would like to extend a big THANK YOU to our customers, partners, and suppliers who make COT Sweden’s journey possible. A special big THANK YOU to those who email, text, or call me and my colleagues in total sincerity and express their gratitude for the service they receive. It means more than you think and creates a pleasant, fun, and energetic atmosphere that is invaluable in our growth.

Life goes on and another summer has passed. For me personally, it has been a quite eventful and beautiful quarter – I can now, proudly, call myself the father of little August, who looked out into the world at the beginning of July, just in time for the industrial holiday. For COT Sweden, the summer was yet another period of stable growth, in line with both previous years and the start of 2025.

Soon it’s Stockholm Marathon and I’m (weirdly) looking forward to running back up the Västerbron – with an eye on our COT trailer that now stands there chatting with passing traffic. This year I’ll be joined by our new sales rep Lukas Åkesson and hopefully we’ll run into as many of you as possible on the streets of Stockholm that day. If we don’t meet there, maybe we’ll meet in August when I, Lukas and a bunch of friends will tackle 92 kilometers in connection with Ultravasan…

Another year has passed, filled with exciting developments and wind in our sails. The books are not completely closed yet, but sales indicate growth of just over 15%, while the results have received a significant boost with over 100%. The reason for this is the fantastic work my dear colleagues (read: friends) put in not only in 2024 but also in 2023 and previous years. Although the annual report covers twelve months, their efforts are the result of long and persistent work.

After a fantastic summer with a much-needed vacation, we returned to a rather hectic everyday life! August and September have both been record-breaking months for us, which I am eternally grateful to my colleagues (read: friends), partners, and suppliers for. We are seeing an increased interest from both existing customers and new ones, which has given us very positive feedback, which is contagious to us as a company and supplier. It is a privilege to have the opportunity to grow and to challenge ourselves and the market as a whole on a daily basis.

The holidays are approaching for most of us, and on Friday I myself will be taking a leave of absence, which should be very pleasant. Sometimes we have to slow down to keep up. We at COT Sweden are open as usual, but with a certain limitation of staff. However, there will be no changes regarding ordering and delivery terms. We are here as usual if needed. 100,000 steps were logged on Saturday, May 18, and although only a few completed the total distance, we had about 40 people join us during the day. It was incredibly fun to see so many cheerful and happy people on this day. As most people noted during the day: in addition to the step challenge itself, it is a fun and social day where many new acquaintances are made.

The first quarter of 2024 has almost flown by, and despite the current market conditions, it feels good to tackle the remaining part of the year with growth of just over 10% compared to the same period in 2023. It also feels extra exciting that we received our first delivery of workwear this week in our own-developed brand CONFIDI, which is now ready for launch. We have invested a lot of money in development and procurement, and we firmly believe that this is the right path for us at COT Sweden in our goal of both facilitating and streamlining our customers' everyday lives. Through the further development of our customer portal with a number of features and the use of existing warehousing and logistics, another business pillar becomes a way to broaden the portfolio for our customers and thus maintain a market-competitive pricing structure with maintained service levels.
